SARTIME Alert System

Welcome to Your Personal Search and Rescue Time (SARTIME) Tool

This website allows you to nominate a SARTIME for activities such as flying, hiking, boating, or any remote adventure. If you do not return and cancel the alert by the nominated time, the system will automatically send an email to your listed emergency contact(s) with your notes, planned route, and location (if provided).

Inspired by aviation SARTIME procedures, this tool provides a simple safety net for solo or small-group outings.

How It Works

  1. Register or Login – Create an account and add your emergency contact details.
  2. Set a SARTIME – Enter your planned activity end time, notes (e.g., route, companions), and optional location.
  3. Go on your activity – Enjoy your adventure with peace of mind.
  4. Cancel on safe return – Log in and cancel the alert before the SARTIME expires.
  5. If you don't cancel – The system (via a scheduled check) will email your emergency contacts.

Note: This is a personal tool and not a substitute for official search and rescue services. Always inform authorities if required.
